To aid their sales force in empathizing with their audience, a pharmaceutical company desired to create clean and clear illustrations to describe the patient journey during diagnosis for a disease state. A color palette was derived from company branding and a style developed that was detailed enough to convey subtle emotion but simple enough to be universal.
