This poster and its accompanying materials were used to publicize a series focusing on hidden messages in Jesus’ teachings. Combining obscured film images of Christ with a custom-designed font lends an air of secrecy and intrigue suggested by the subject matter.
These projected backdrops continue the poster’s conceit of using cropped film stills to allude to the subject matter in abstract ways.
The typeface uses minimal geometric forms to imply each letter of the alphabet, trusting the viewer’s eye to complete the puzzle.
